Abstract: The author tackles the concept of “presence” in Derrida’s philosophy, in an attempt to see the way the metaphysics of presence and textual dissemination are articulated. To this end, the text is in relation with what it imitates (mimesis), in fact, the truth which is reproduced and repeated.
