Abstract: The last decade of the communist regime meant for Romanian literature a period of a reflourishing of dogmaticism and of an aggressive affirmation of an official, nationalist and anti-aesthetic discourse. The present study proposes to analyse, in a typological, far from exhaustive modality, thea ways and means whereby the propagandist organs and the writers involved tried to fraudulently legitimize nationalist discourse.
