Abstract: The author discusses the concept of «hysteria of the presence» in painting, hysteria°driven sight being synonymous to the revelation of sensitive truth. The getting together of philosophy and literature and painting brings about the trespassing of limits set by figural presence and outlines a demarche typical of the aesthetics of vitality.
