Abstract: Poet Nicolae Ionel’s work contains data and elements certifying the interpretation of poetic presence both as a magic phenomenon and also as a mystical phenomenon (in rather a particular than a canonical sense). As presence is contested to be a top gain both by magic and also by mysticism, a poetry of the presence has to be located, in its turn, in one spiritual region or another. As known, the meanings of mysticism and magic have not been for a long time now self-understood, but they are the outcome of painstaking, arcane operations of de-contextualisation and re°contextualisation.
